Northeast Spain’s most widely planted varietal, Tempranillo is a well-balanced, fruity red. An elegant wine, it may be enjoyed aged or fresher. Red meats, pasta and tomato-based foods pair well. Our 2015 Gold Medal Running Deer Red is half Tempranillo and half Primitivo.
