This full-bodied red has rich flavors and high tannins which makes it a wonderful partner for spicy sauces, grilled meats and other dishes with lots of flavor. Originally from Bordeaux France, this popular varietal has hints of red and black berries, and baking spices such as cinnamon. Delicious with Middle Eastern or North African food.
